I went to Dr VJ for sublingual film. At first he took insurance and then he did not take insurance. He kept uping his rates and it was always cash. I was an alcoholic while I saw him and he never helped me, I asked several times. I do not drink anymore thanks to God. I wouldn't go to him even if he was the last doctor alive.
Taking my teenage son to Dr VJ was the best experience we have had in 12 years working with a mental health professional. He is kind and tried to engage my son in conversation. His staff was extremely friendly and helpful and made his appointment totally stressless.
Dr. Vijapura and his staff have always been compassionate and responsive. Very professional and proactive in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.
He's a very receptive doctor, he listens to your needs, makes a thoughtful assesment, and has a wonderful assistant. She is awesome, so sweet and really tries her hardest to make the patient comfortable and happy. I would recommend Dr. V to anyone in a situation similar to myself, for anyone who requires addiction and mental health care.
I have been going to see Dr Vija for a couple months now. He and his staff have been nothing but kind and compassionate. Yes, you have to pay to go here, but compared to what I was spending on the street, this is a drop in a bucket.
Incredibly knowledgeable, caring, thoughtful and easy to access. He cares deeply for his patients and their medical care and wants to see them succeed. Anyone who has something negative to say about this physician simply does not care about recovery or getting better.
Dr Vj is very professional and a life saver!
Does not take ANY INSURANCE! Long waits. Extremely short visit with dr. ( TEN minutes ??) Must pay $360 up front before you even see anyone! Walked out with 3 scripts wondering how I was diagnosed so quickly and if it was really what I needed. Watch out for medical forms you fill out before seeing the dr. One page asked for my credit card number AND SECURITY CODE on back of the card??????
