I recommend Jorge here he comes with 30yrs of experience Was nervous because last time a supervisor was needed because the tech couldn't find my vein but Jorge ended up surprising me and so thankful he was here hes such a blessing hardly felt the needle. God Bless You Jorge! Also even if you don't get Jorge everyone else seemed helpful today from another female tech & especially the supervisor without complaints from other patients.
Despite the lengthy wait, Jorge Z. was great and very attentive and gentle phlebotomy.
I came in for some lab work, and it’s always the same old situation. The laboratory knows they have a high volume of patients coming in for lab work, yet they have four check-in windows and only one person working them. The phlebotomists do not begin seeing patients until around 8:30 a.m., even though the doors open at 8:00 a.m. Management needs to look into ways to improve efficiency and expedite the process so patients can be seen and discharged in a timely manner. Jorge is absolutely 5* phlebotomist.. Very professional , fast and well experienced. My mom had very thin and deep veins and she always panic whenever she needs to do her blood work and ask for the butterfly needle. But with Jorge he told us don't and let me judge and he used the regular needle with literally 0.00% pain. He is absolutely an ANGEL . Thank you Jorge.
The waiting room at 7:20 was full with just one registration clerk! The other two windows used for registration were closed. The possibility of exposing patients to unknown diseases in a crowded waiting room. I felt sorry for the one clerk trying to register as quickly as possible. I felt sorry for the ill older patients waiting more than an hour plus to be seen. This is totally irresponsible for a large healthcare system of DHR.
