I specifically looked around for a neurologist that seemed to be suitable to help my friend and her symptoms. As soon as I read about Dr Cruz and his qualifications, it gave me the optimism that he would be the one to help my friend. She had stroke like symptoms with face droop (in front of me)(and all classic stroke symptoms). Stroke exams was negative somehow for everything, but still has very severe symptoms that are listed more below after being discharged from 5 day hospital stay. But... Getting rescheduled 2 since 2024 and still can't get to see any dr in the office yet my migraines are more often as we speak i am on hold it's 20min still can't get an appointment sooner than what they are rescheduling my appointment they change your appointment and yet it's still another month.
Dr.Cruz was great! I liked the fact he didn’t dismiss my memory concerns as being stressed,depressed etc.
Absolute worst neurologist I have ever had! He took over 6 months to get me on a medicine. He put me on an infusion medicine that was supposedly the strongest medicine out there. It is really only given to people who have taken 2 or more medicines that have been ineffective. The 2 medicines I had been on beforehand were very successful. I just needed a refill. But there was no rush to get me the infusion medicine. He made me go way too long without medicine and my condition worsened rapidly. I even had to make an emergency r... read more
