My husband had an appt for seizure disorder Dec 20.. 2 weeks later no auth has been submitted to the insurance for the EEG AND MRI Requested by Dr. Estefan. The MA in charge says she’s working on it but has not submitted anything to the insurance and can’t even call the patient back. Save yourself the time!! The staff is not worth your trouble!! Dr. Gutierrez is good, but this place is so hard to find that even GPS doesn’t get you to the exact location. It gets you in the vicinity, but that’s about it!! Super frustrating, we have to leave at least an hour before an appt time, to make sure we have at least 20 minutes to try & find the office!! Apparently, to GPS, all the buildings look the same & it just takes us in circles! We have to go into every parking lot trying to find the correct building. This rating is for dr. Cruz and the staff. I am very thankful for them being so polite and patient with me. I've been going through so much and dr. Cruz made me feel very heard. It's hard to find a dr who makes you feel important in times you feel alone and scared. Thank you dr. For doing more than the minimum and made all efforts to find answers. I still have a long way to go. Eternally grateful
Khabbazeh PHD is absolutely horrible. She told me that I was faking my seizures and completely ignored the fact that I had a traumatic brain injury. She was extremely rude and offensive. I've met others who say the SAME THING. She needs to lose her license and fired immediately. So disappointed with DHR for hiring such a terrible doctor. Unforgivable. I tell people to avoid DHR at all costs, especially with a brain injury. HORRIBLE.
