I went for an echocardiogram. I waited maybe 5 minutes. Registration was painless. They explained everything well and it went as smoothly as could be expected. The procedure itself went well. They were concerned about my comfort and they did a great job. I would definitely come back if I needed their services.
Dr almeida told me to bring my dad next time. Insinuating that he would actually listen to my problems if a man were present. I live on my own and pay my own rent, I do not need my father present. 2/8 people I've spoken to are actually kindhearted. Everyone else has an attitude and is rude. I was crying to him about my heart pain yet he sat there careless.

If you are able to go to any other heart institute, please do. Every time I come here I have an appointment made well in advance. And every time I’m here I have to wait at least 2 hours to get into a room, usually 3. They overbook and it takes half my day for a 30 minute appointment. The receptionist tend to mislead and not provide needed information for my visits. I called ahead and specifically asked if I was doing a stress test and if I needed to dress a certain way or prepare and they said no. Upon arrival I found out I ... read more
