Very bad service. The delivery driver came while I was home—I even saw him on the camera at the gate—but he didn’t deliver my package. He didn’t try to contact me or use COD. The package wasn’t delivered on the scheduled day. I do not recommend this service.

I made the mistake of ordering a small amount of tea from Japan. DHL made up fake fees (like an FDA inspection fee) for a carton of teabags. lol. A quick online search shows they are collecting illegitimate duties on all kinds of items that have nothing to do with the government. I asked for an explanation of the charges in writing and received curt non answers. Be careful with DHL.
DO NOT USE DHL!!! They are 0/3 for us and a complete rip-off each time! But they do business in Europe so we gave them one last chance. Boy were we wrong!!! This last time we sent a piece of paper in a small envelope. They put it in a big packing envelope and charged $158.63!!! I couldn’t believe it. But we need it ASAP and didn’t have time to find another shipper. For the $158.63, the promised the envelope would be delivered Friday. We could live with Friday so we held our noses and went ahead.
