If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT use them. Dhi lending and D.R. Horton homes are a dirty duo. They target people and give you a Mortgage estimate based on the cost Of unapproved land making your mortgage appear lower. You don’t find this out until Reassessment when they actually use your property value with an Actual house on it. You will be hit with a massive increase in your mortgage. We began the home-buying process working with another lender but ultimately switched to DHI because our DR Horton home offered incentives to work with their lender. Without a doubt, the worst lending group I have ever dealt with. Heather in particular was repulsively dry, failed to return phone calls, condescending majority of the time. The entire interaction felt like an inconvenience rather than an opportunity. They can kick rocks - save your time folks

ZERO stars or NEGATIVE stars. Please dont get into the Trap of closing cost credit from DHI Mortgage. They cheat at the end by giving 100s of reasons and elevate rates indirectly to recover credit. We locked the rate few days back and Lender came back now informing some selection resulted in error and could not lock it. Now, knowing that only few days left to close, quoting 0.75% more than what other lenders are offering.. Not a good experience, I wish I had gone with other lender, now too late..
