Dr. Patel is always considerably late. For example, yesterday, she herself told me to come today at 9:50 because she'll be in at 10. The front desk said she won't be in until 10:30!! They also tell me they tell her consistenly that patients are upset to be kept waiting. This particular group will not let you change to a different doctor in the group once you begin treatment. I am so grateful for Dr. Patel! She’s extremely knowledgeable and has a very direct, no-nonsense approach (she’s a New Yorker!) I’ve been her patient for several years because she helps! Don’t waste your time or money on anyone else who claims to be a TMJ Specialist if they are not an Orofacial specialist. I have joked that Dr isn’t allowed to ever move back to New York again (I’m actually not joking Dr! You better not!) She is fantastic! I have suffered a severe jaw condition for 25 years. She is knowledgeable about jaw treatments and combines that with a whole body, homeopathic approach. I got a great deal of relief under her care.
