I’ve been waiting for now 5years to get help and yet still nothing. I’ve been calling, emailing, etc to try and get help. I have 1 child that’s not turning 5 and I work hard as I can and still need help all 5 years. The people that’s actually trying and need help never gets help. All they tell you it’s a lottery picking. Yea that’s helps thanks .. terrible
The wait is very long for those who really need the help. I've been waiting for 6 years after my down fall from Ovarian Cancer stage 4. I applied in 2021 because I was still in recovery. I came in today just to make sure that my case was updated. Now all I can do is pray & wait.
Good evening, I've been trying to get in contact with somebody in the DHA housing so I can see about my portability.But nobody have not contact me at all my Case worker in Florida has been trying to get in contact with the caseworker DHA no respond from emails. These people are so incompetent when it comes to their online portal. I receive an email every month regarding being purged from the waiting list when it's supposed to be every 18 months. Plus, in my opinion, I think that the government should audit some of these DHA ran properties, along with a thorough inspection because some of these properties have been neglected.
