Was bought out by Dean's Home Services. My $120 filters for 4-pack is $267.50. How is that possible? That offered a one-time discount for the difference, after I requested by email a copy of my last invoice showing the cost, which I appreciate but this feels like they're just out to get more money and not that the filters went up that exorbitant amount. Unfortunately this company was sold to Deans Home Services. Hence I have to give this review… One of my LP customers, an elderly, 75 year old widow was almost taken advantage of by their super SALES TECHS…. Her furnace could not keep up in the cold weather recently (1.5 year old installation), tech arrived and tried to pass the buck on that it’s because her propane tank is too low at 35 % (175 gal)…. Once I enlightened him on the phone he then told myself and customer that she needs an $1100 maxitrol 325-3 regulator replaced... read more
Horrible service! My 14 month old furnace which I purchased from DeZeil Heating & AC (along with a new AC unit) isn't working so I called for a repair this morning but I'm unable to get a technician for four days! I'm on their monthly service plan which should make me a priority. Unfortunately DeZiel has been sold to Deans Home Serve who is does not provide the same level of follow-up and service that DeZiel Heating did. UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE!!
Deziel now Dean's I guess sent their furnace guy to my home to diagnose my non-working furnace said the control panel was bad (I found out is a $200 part) and he could fix it for about $1,600 but that might not be the problem he recommended just a brand new furnace for $8,000. I then had mcchesney from Big Lake come out for a second opinion turns out only my thermostat was bad 165 bucks the young man had it fixed and up and running in less than 30 minutes. This company is now partnered with Dean's Heating and Air, which has not-so-great customer service. The reps are kind, but I keep getting sent in circles and the issue gets 'escalated'. I'm 4x overdue for a callback, and each time I re-initiate the inquiry it goes back into the void of "you'll get a callback." On the front end the salesman and installers are helpful and informative, but if you have any concerns in the follow-up/aftermath, good luck.
