Dexter recently replaced the wooden handles on a pair of vintage Dexter knives from the 1950's for me. The workmanship was top notch. The service was A+. And they sharpened the blades too. I could not be more pleased with this company.

Generally a big fan with 5 or 6 Dexters in use at any one time. I recently had a newish 8" Tiger Edge blade separate from the handle. Tried sending an email on the website without response. Had forgotten about it, but then reached-out via phone. Rep was highly professionally and provided an email for photos, etc. I shipped photos via email - literally five minutes later received a nice note thanking me for following-up and indicating they would be promptly shipping me a replacement. There are two times in my life I've come across a piece of equipment so expertly crafted that it makes you feel like you are noticeably better at something you think you are already pretty good at. The first was a Rickenbacker 4003 bass guitar, the second was a spatula made by your company. It is quite nearly perfect. It's weight, it's balance, it's design, it feels like an extension of yourself. It was more expensive than other options, but it was American made and well worth the price of admission.
Knives are 5-star, Customer Service 1-star. Tried private message on here and got a message saying, "For customer service email customerservice@dexter1818[dot]com. TheEdge since 1818". Emailed them on 7/9 and 7/22, no reply for either one.
