This was my first experience doing a dexa scan and it was super insightful, I learned a lot about my body. My technician, Kristen, was very detailed and thorough in explaining my report. The process is very quick, the facility is very clean. This San Carlos location is upstairs so enter the door on the left.

I wanted to get a more accurate reading of my body fat, muscle mass and VO2 max than fitness devices are able to provide, so decided to try this out. I worked with Emily for a scan and VO2 max scan, and in less than an hour I received a host of detailed metrics, a training plan based on my metrics, and general guidance and references for making the most of my physical health. The tech was late starts off by aoologizing. Ok, then she acts like she is not interested at all in my program package. Minimal communication to describe procedures and even less communication pursuant to the results. Almost like a generic assembly line. The Dexafit was informativethe results are easy to self interpret. The I question the accuracy of the RMP test.
