I've been dealing with Dewey's for many years and have had good service. We buy equipment through help of CVRF People Propel. I was looking forward to getting a Vmax 150 outboard motor. Your sales people need to inform us that in order to use People propel we have to have paid our share of the payment needed. I didn't know and missed out on the opportunity to purchase what I wanted. Pretty unfortunate that these guys are the only Yamaha dealer in the area. I called to see about getting diagnostics done on two motors. The lady who answered the phone said “did you buy them here?” I said “I didn’t. They’re on a boat I’m looking at buying”. She responded with “well, we don’t have time to do that unless you bought them here” and then hung up on me. I called and asked a question about a motor and they said “go google it”. Bought a 60hp for my dingy and the guys treated it like I was buying a 30 Hughes Craft. For that, I appreciate it and I will be back in the future for my marine purchases. Great group. Thx again!
Great experience! Came in looking for a small, random part. The staff was polite and friendly despite the fact I wasn’t buying a boat, or really anything that was actually expensive. They set me up with an account really quick too, and the whole process only took a few minutes. I was amazed they were able to find what I was looking for so quickly with the limited information I had. I’m sure I’ll be back too often!!
Repowered our boat this summer. The whole team was great. Special kudos to Matt and Chad who both showed incredible customer service skills, provided great advice and professional pride in their work. The upgrades and install by Chad exceeded my expectations and have been a total joy. Matt’s mechanical guidance is detailed and super helpful. I learn a ton every time I talk to these folks. Have used Dewey’s for over 20 years and they have always been helpful. Fish on!
