Very good veterinary care
I want to take the time to appropriately thank the staff at DeVun for helping me through a rough time putting my 12 year old pug, Jersey down in July. I had just had a baby a few weeks before and we were moving the next day to NC when Jersey became very ill. They helped arrange Jersey’s ashes to be sent to my new address and gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye to my best friend. Jersey will always hold a very special place in my heart and I thank you for being so kind in such a terrible moment.
Dr. DeVun and his staff are the best at what they do! Highly recommend if you are looking for the best care possible for your pet.
Used DeVun services when we were in St. Bernard years ago and now drive from Slidell to the Mandeville office. We had tried 2 other vets in Slidell to treat our Sheltie and our cat. After these experiences, it is not an option for anyone else to treat our pets other than John Devun. Not just a great vet, but an even greater human being.

Called this morning (Saturday) to get an appointment for my dog whose anal gland ruptured last night. I was told since I haven’t brought him in since 2015 they won’t see him today. I have 3 dogs all of which have been to this vet multiple times over the years. My dog that I needed to bring in is highly allergic to vaccinations so he hasn’t needed to come in in the last two years.
