We've lived here going on 8 years and while yes some of the bad reviews was true it has gotten ALOT better. They are making sure to come and fixes things that the old landlords never bothered too and have been fixing up the neighborhood nicely. I love the huge deck we have on the back and the basement is pretty big so it can be used for a storage area and still have room for a pool table, laundry area and tv sitting area. I'll be honest: I am both the manager here AND a resident of Devling Place, so let me give an honest review from both sides. As a resident: I live in a townhome (a middle unit) that is 3 stories with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. What I like about it is that the master bedroom is REALLY big with a great walk in closet. The dining room is separate from the living room and there's a good amount of natural light. I also love that the basement has high ceilings and is usable space instead of being scary and wasted. My family moved into Devling Place apartments at the end of February. From the start, the manager has been great. She & her maintenance man got our apartment ready for us in a hurry (we were staying with family), accommodated our pets (large dog, small dog & cat), and have taken care of any issues we've brought to their attention. We have a 9 year old child who likes it here as well- lots of kids to play with, curfew & supervision of kids STRICTLY enforced so we know she is safe. I look forward to a long time here :-)

I have lived at Devling Place for almost a year and when I first moved the manager was not fit to manage anything she was fired and the new manager they have is very helpful and tries to get things fixed and taken care in a timely manner I do know that anytime I have paged the on call pager I have had a phone call back in no less then 10 minutes. I have been here since February and I just love it here! They accomodated me with my dog (med to large) and she loves everyone that she has met!!! I have a few maintenance issues and 95% of them have been taken care of since I moved in. Waiting on parts of the two items that are broken. Lots of kids and pets here and everyone has been so nice and friendly. I do have one issue is that they need another maintenance employee, the one we have it GREAT but he works 7 day a week!!! I have lived at Devling Place for over a year. Thankfully there is now a new manager or I would no longer be here. The previous manager should have been gone a LONG TIME AGO! I can understand why people have had bad reviews in the past but I fully recommend giving Devling Place a chance now. The new manager is well organized, outgoing and easy to talk to, she actually cares about the property and residents!!

Turning Around at Devling Place – I have lived here for 4 years and let me just say we started off to a rocky start. The previous manager was a nightmare at best. Since September it has been like a different place. The office is now smoke free and clean - nothing like it was before. I can honestly say I do not mind going in to pay my rent now, before I would not even send my child up there as it was so smoky in the office. People should give Devling Place a chance. DISGUSTING – This place is the most disgusting place i have ever lived in. I have lived here since october and they have done nothing that i have asked about the apartment. I actually live in the town houses and since i moved in i have asked and asked to get stuff fixed and 4 months later still nothing has been done. The new manager is really nice but if your even a day late on your rent she is beating and kicking on your door trying to get the money which is very embarassing.
