Sadly he didn’t listen to what I was ever saying. He was stuck on a certain diagnosis for something that I wasn’t even there for then when we were able to actually start discussing the issue, he said that he “looked it up” meaning on the Internet. I understand that all Drs look things up on the Internet, but for this particular condition, it is something he should’ve been educated in with his years of experiences.. There was even talk of removing an organ that wasn’t even causing me any issues. There were a couple of other t... read more

For over 4 years NO doctor wanted to remove a bilateral Hernia Mesh implant that caused me to have an allergic reaction in my groin. I was in pain and couldn't walk. Dr. Gillispie at St. Joseph hospital informed me that I would be worse off if I had the Mesh removed because of the morbid procedure. However, the pain was soo much that I had no choice but to seek out a doctor who would remove the Mesh. I was ill and I felt green. That's when I found Dr. Gray. At first he was reluctant to remove the Mesh because of how difficul... read more

I had an appy and the Nurses wouldn’t give me antibiotics, yet I had a gangrene “leaking” appendix removed and a drain tube taking purulent fluid that was in my abdomen. I begged to talk a doc,no hospitalist- MIA for three days. 3 days post op, Dr Gray finally comes in, Gilbert Hospital, and argues with me about how I don’t need antibiotics. I ask for tests, a blood test and UA, mom asks for my drain tube to cultured- refused, he said quote “this guy in Chandler had a lot of (pus) coming out, you didn’t have as much... I put... read more

Dr. Gray is a great surgeon and has excellent bedside manner. I would highly recommend him and the Dignity Hospital staff at Elliott and Ellsworth, Mesa, AZ. Their expertise and assistance was stellar. I appreciate their kindness and caring attitudes.

My entire experience with Doctor Gray was of the utmost professionalism courtesy kindness by all of his staff included. Doctor Gray was dynamic in his experience and his knowledge. In my experience I thought I was taken care very well which gave me a great level of confidence in my experience through this surgery.

I am not from the valley but was here to visit my son and his family. Dr. Gray and his staff were amazing in getting me in and actually scheduling my surgery the day after I had my first visit. The office staff - especially Alex is absolutely the BEST. Everyone is extremely efficient and at the same time - very caring. I can not thank Dr. Gray and his staff more! Very grateful and I wish I could package what you have going on and take it home with me! THANK YOU!!!!

July 7 2016 Dr. Grey took the time to answer all my questions even after I had left the office . I was referred to him after a failed attempt with another surgeon and so far I'm 14 hours post surgery and doing good . Thank you Jennifer for your efforts and Dr. Grey

This surgeon is the worst when it comes to double checking if you require surgery or not. If a PA makes the referral, he has no problem performing a surgical procedure even if there is no concrete proof that the organ he is about to remove is accurate or not. This happened to my family and once the procedure was complete, the original symptoms and extreme pain was still there, meaning what he removed was not the problem after all. The lab work was non conclusive but we trusted him.
