Dr.Garza and his team took great care of me with my hysterectomy and endometriosis excision surgery. Dr.Garza listened to me, explained everything clearly, and was warm and kind. Dr.Garza and his PA Erika were patient in answering my questions (and I had A LOT of questions. He also has a staff member Sarah who handles disability paperwork which was so helpful. If you’re considering surgery with any endometriosis surgeon, I strongly encourage you to carefully weigh the potential benefits and risks. Excision surgery is inherently invasive, recovery can vary widely from person to person, and there is currently no cure for endometriosis, meaning symptoms or disease may return over time. Performed my first laparoscopy with Garza. After the surgery, I was in pain like never before. I tried to keep brushing it off, like maybe one day I’ll get better. The pain became so unbearable, that I ended up calling Garza, and his response was oh I wasn’t going to say anything unless you brought it up, but I messed up your procedure. His “solution” to put a bandaid, was to request thousands of dollars in pain injections, instead of figuring out what he did wrong.
