15 years ago I had eye surgery at an unnamed clinic and for those 15 years have had pain and repeated infections in my left eye, which is blind. THEN I saw Dr. Ashlin Joye at Devers Clinic. He found old un-removed stitches and removed them. What happened next was restored vision in that eye. End of pain. End of infection. He is my hero .
If you have posterior uveitis or any other blinding eye disease, Devers is not a good place to receive treatment. Patient care is substandard and there is no sense of urgency. They’re perfectly content to let you go blind while they give you the runaround and milk your insurance. Their doctors are unprofessional and complain about being overworked, and management is completely ineffective. Please take this review seriously! Your vision is very important. Twice. Yes twice. Both times (2017 and 2025 ) i was given a prescription for eye glasses and it turned out that they were the wrong prescription. Even when I kept saying during the eye exam that I could see the eye chart but it was very blurry. So the appointment was three-weeks ago. I now have another appointment for three weeks from now and it takes three weeks to get the glasses. Thats more than 9 weeks. More than two months. Got a referral from my eye doctor, but was never called for the referral from this eye institute! it had been a month that passed! Called them on hold a long time, got operator, then sent to a recorded new patient message, saying they won’t get back to u in 8-10 days!!!! Really what kind of a business are u running!!
