There isn't to much to say that is good about this government agency. If you are looking for assistance with the care of your child, it is better to just talk with the school. They do all the work. This agency is a lame duck pretend social service that only serves their intrest.
Very unreliable and they do not take responsibility for any of their mistakes that mess up people's lives.
My experience with this agency has been heartbreaking. I’ve never encountered people who do less. Emails and phone calls are not returned, general job duties are ignored, Agencies and providers are not supported and are not compensated correctly. If you call and do get an answer, the response is rude and condescending and not helpful at all.
I have not had a good experience with this organization. I find the administration to be out of touch with needs of individuals and providers. After speaking to others at a special Olympics event, providers as well as clients, it is clear the providers are under appreciated, and individuals feel like they are forced to follow what their county rep wants and not give explanations for why they are forced to cut their services and lose contact with their peers and community .
