Had an attempted appointment today. My kid was to be seen for behavioral health diagnosis etc & during the attempted appointment my kid was crying due to possibly being in a new environment. The person doing our appointment unempathetically & unprofessionally told us that we should reschedule because she could not focus on the appointment due to his crying. Remind you, we were there for that reason & more plus we were on a 4 month wait list & my kid missed school to go to this appointment at the college park Kansas location.... read more
Phone call scheduled to do intake only to find out we do not qualify for services. This call could have been an email. In order to qualify you have to have other doctors in multiple clinics. Unacceptable.
I love my son's behavior doctor.
Children's' Mercy Developmental and Behavioral Clinic has been wonderful. It does take some time to get in but once you are there... it is an amazing team of wonderful doctors, therapist and nurses. We have only had a few instances where tings could have been betting but not everything is the perfect fit, they were wonderful about adjusting and working with you.
