DevArt8 did our kitchen and primary bath remodel in Cupertino. 6 weeks. Came in on budget. Ray and the crew were the easiest part of buying a fixer. We’ll use them again when we get to the backyard.
Added a 400 sqft primary suite to the back of our Sunnyvale home with DevArt8. Bedroom, walk-in closet, full bathroom, and a private deck. The guys at DevArt8 built a detached ADU in our Palo Alto backyard. It was a 600 square feet, one-bedroom, full kitchen, and in-unit laundry. They spent about 6.5 months as our general contractor. After they started excavation, they hit some hard rock that required a slight foundation redesign. Their structural engineer scoped the change. They showed us the bid, we approved, and they got back to work. Palo Alto ADU permits are intense, and they handled all of it. I absolutely love the new unit.
DevArt8 added a 350 sqft family room to the back of our Mountain View home. We met with 4 contractors before going with Ray and Sagi, they were the most prepared at the first meeting and gave us the most detailed proposal. About 4 months from permit to final. Mid-project they discovered the original 1960s framing had been done in a way that complicated the new tie-in, and they brought in a structural engineer to re-engineer the connection. We closed in February and gave them 8 weeks to do kitchen, three bathrooms, all flooring, paint, and reconfigure a closed-off floor plan. They delivered with a few days to spare and we moved into a home that already felt like ours. Honest pricing and the crew worked Saturdays to keep us on schedule. Recommend as a Mountain View general contractor for pre-move-in remodels.
