Dr Patel has been my dr since my gastric bypass many years ago he helped me eat again after 2 structures I’ve had no issues and I recommend his work to anyone

He’s not a nice doctor he’s very rude and only cares about money , he’s very cold and condescending when he talks to you .

Dr. Patel is caring and an amazing Doctor. He always makes sure I understand whatever it is that is going on. He is very thorough and knowledgeable and makes me feel comfortable. His staff is very helpful as well.

Staff is rude. And IMO he is pushy if he knows insurance will pay for another scope

My experience with Dr. Patel both times I met him were very unpleasant. The first visit was in his office and when he was explaining to me my test results and options I did not understand the medical lingo he was using. I asked Dr. Patel if he can fax or email my results to my cousin who is a very well and respected Gastro doctor in Westchester and he told me “No I’m to busy!” Meanwhile I was only patient in office. Second experience was in the hospital after my surgery I experienced same result

My wife has been under his care for several months following gastric bypass years ago. Her condition is complicated and due to a stricture she was unable to eat. Dr. Patel has treated her wonderfully, with compassion and great expertise. She had a rough time after the first endoscopy and we were able to get in touch with him immediately. After several Endoscopy treatments my wife was able to avoid painful and risky revision surgery, Dr. P was a huge part of that. Thx Dr. Patel!

I came to Dr. Patel for a second opinion since he has been my husband's Gastroenterologist for the last few years. He alleviated my fears immediately with a calming manner. He ran further studies and has taken his time to explain every single exam and procedure done. He is an excellent provider and I am glad I switched providers. Due to my husband's genetic condition we have also brought our son to see him and he was just as satisfied as we were. We highly recommend him.

Dr. Patel is an excellent practitioner. He takes his time to explain conditions and procedures. He has an excellent bedside manner and makes sure that exams are done in a timely manner. The scheduling is very flexible and he has a late day. He is not only friendly and concerned, but he is an expert in his field. He keeps up to date with the latest procedures. I have a genetic disease that affects the colon, Dr. Patel and his office have made me feel confident that I have the best care in Jersey.

I felt like they only wanted my money. The woman at the front is rude & pushy. I got a call on a Tues telling me I need to come in for Iron infusions. They asked me if I can come in the following Thurs. I had another appt, but I told them I can come in before that appt. I got there and waited a while & almost left bc I didn't think I'd make it to my other appt. I nicely asked if I can reschedule but the recep. wouldn't let me. Spoke to my primary care doc & found out I dont need the infusions.
