Dr. Boone was wonderful! She spent a lot of time with me making sure all my questions and concerns were answered before the surgery. I had a few issues after surgery, and she was available to me both early in the morning and on weekends. She followed up to see how I was doing after the issues and was very attentive in listening to my questions and concerns. I researched surgeons thoroughly after understanding that parathyroid surgery is not very common and the surgeon needs to have performed many of these surgeries in order to have the best outcome. You want a surgeon that can locate all 4 parathyroids and this is often not the easiest task. Dr. Deva Boone is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered. She is kind and understanding, she takes her time to explain everything to you and no question is treated with any irritation. She has the best bedside manner ... and on top of that is an amazing skilled surgeon. After finding out from the nurse who prepped me for surgery was surprised to find out I was "local" I was curious as to her reaction. She explained that patients travel from all over the US and Canada to be seen by Dr. Boone. Now I know why.

My surgery is scheduled for 7 weeks from now and I was panicking. Dr Boone meet with me virtually and answered all my questions.
I had my parathyroid surgery the end of July 2022. All of the process went well. Her staff are exceptional. Dr. Boone is an awesome doctor. My surgery went well an so did my recovery with her direction. My scar is small n can hardly be seen. I highly recommend Dr. Deva Boone.

I saw Dr Boone in November for hyperparathyroid disease and had an adenoma removed. It was the best surgical experience I have ever had. I came from Texas and she got me on her schedule very quickly after reviewing my labs etc. My scar is minimal and I went home with no issues. I highly recommend Dr Boone and her staff.
