The place ghosted me in Feb 2024. I showed up for a scheduled cleaning, but the building was closed for remodeling. No call, no letter...well I did get a letter later that evening when the mail arrived at 6pm!

I’m not really sure what is going on with this practice. They have been through multiple dentists in the short time that Dr.Goodman left. I read through the reviews and it says they are closed to renovations but when I spoke to somebody it sounded like Dr.Hornick already left… so I’m not sure what the actual reason is they are closed. And if Dr. Hornick did leave, I feel like letters should have been sent out to patients regarding the matter. I think I will be looking for a new office.
I liked this office before it was sold. My hygienist Kathy is wonderful. However I have had my spring cleaning appointments cancelled 2 years in row due to "remodeling". The first time I was mailed a letter that said they would contact me to reschedule, they didn't follow up. This time I received a call from another office in Clinton Township 3 days prior to my cleaning appointment to tell the Hazel Park location is once again "remodeling". They couldn't tell me when the office will reopen.
I was a long-time patient of Dr Goodman. He was great. But then he retired and sold the practice. That was ok at first. But then they canceled all their patients at the Hazel Park office. They had to close the office due to staffing issues. Now it’s happened again and this time I’m looking for a new dentist.
