I went here and the service is horrible. They took test and when shift change there was no new shift i was left in emergency for 2hrs!! By myself. Remind you i was already there for 6hrs! And it wasn't busy! They said they forgot about me.
I pray I never have to go there again! I feel so ashamed of my people! So freaking ashamed! No professionalism what so ever! Attitudes and laziness! I’m not sure what the criteria is now to work there, but the standard has to be a low one! I understand how it is in Detroit when it comes to poverty etc. but health care professionals actually supposed to care! I’m so ashamed and disappointed!
This is the worst hospital in Detroit. It's rundown and filthy. Avoid it and go somewhere else. DMC hospitals are awful; they don't care about their patients, and many of their patients have serious issues. My experience here was terrible. You can't go anywhere in the hospital without being constantly monitored by the police, and they search you every time. A nurse has to escort you everywhere.
