If arriving with just a carry on at the north terminal, get picked up at the departure instead of arrival. Less crowded!
I flew Spirit to Florida and back out of the Old Terminal, and it's not that bad. As long as you can live without the free drink+peanuts, it's a nice way to fly! The service was good too!

I am so pleasantly surprised that Delta's Sky Lounge has free showers. Wooo Hooo! Gotta go, they've just paged me to tell me mine is ready!
Go through the security checkpoint at the Westin. Never anyone On line
Be sure to stop by the Duty Free shop in terminal A.
Don't eat at the first food court after security in the McNamara terminal. Way better restaurants at the gates.
