Deter Motor Co. was founded on July 1, 1964 by Don Deter and originally featured the Chevrolet and Buick product lines. In 1983 we added Pontiac and Cadillac to become one of the first full-line General Motors dealers in the Midwest. Chas was the greatest, we had to fly in and he coordinated to pick my husband up at the airport and got him signed and on the road again extremely quick! We will forever be a client of this dealership because of this transaction.

Car issues! Every single person here was absolutely helpful, caring, nice, & patient with us! Service center, owner and the finance department, cause we had to end up buying a new vehicle lol! Just traveling through Iowa on our way to Colorado and car kicked the bucket! So glad it happened close to Deter automotive, cause anywhere else could have ended up way worse for us! Thank you all from all of us for making this situation a lot less stressful! Sending hugs 🤗
