Do not use this office or these dentists ...EVER!!!! If you look at their website they preach predictable results, but not customer satisfaction. I've had two extractions in my life...one at detailed dental and one elsewhere...the one conducted at detailed dental was brutal, barbaric, and painful, the extraction done elsewhere was smooth, sophisticated and almost pain free. Do NOT go here!! The first visit I had to Detailed Dental went pretty well and the hygienist was really nice and helpful. But I was scheduled to come back and have a significant amount of work done in one appointment so I wanted to do the sedation. They sent the prescription to the wrong pharmacy so when I called the morning of the appointment they had me running all over town trying to find it. I have finally found a dental office that I love. Detailed Dental is a great office. Dr Potter and the staff are great . Dr. Del Rio is doing the ortho for my children. It is so convenient to have all your needs met at one location. I love the laid back family atmosphere in the office, no rushing and no long periods of sitting in the chair waiting for the dentist to come in. I had my first visit at Detailed Dental just a couple of months ago and could not have been more pleased. The front staff took the time to research my detal insurance for me and le tme know up front what was covered and what was not covered by my dental insurance. The were extremely friendly and accomodating to my schedule. Kat, the hygienst, was very gentle and thorough. That was the first time I had ever had my gum tissues measured, WOW!! I have to totally disagree with the previous review. I have been going to this dental office for the past few years and have received nothing but the very best care. Dr. Del Rio and Dr. Potter are great dentists. They ARE very caring and gentle. I have had molars capped that we decided to try capping first, as opposed to a root canal right off the bat - sometimes the cap solves the problem and other times a root canal is ultimately needed. I had two crowns put in by Dr Potter at Detailed Dental. What a colossal error in judgment on my part. Their web site is a total piece of fiction, There was no gentle caring dental work. I was in total pain the night of my crown prep. No warning of pain, no prescription for pain medication. By Sunday night and early Monday AM I was in excruciating pain again. Apparently Potter put on a double cap instead of single capping each tooth and it must of pinched or irritated my gums to the point I had to declare a dental emergency.... read more
