Rita's did my sister's wedding cakes (each table had its own cake), my wedding cakes (same as at my sisters wedding), my baby shower cake and birthday cakes for almost everyone in the family. All cakes have tasted awesome and looked spectacular!!! I trust Rita with designing, she is the best! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Super nice people and very good prices.

We worked with Rita's for our wedding at the Vandiver, as they were part of our package, and I had no other preferences. The cake tasted great, and looked beautiful, but the communication is lacking. We worked with Cindy, with whom I mainly communicated through the email address she provided. She did not entirely read my emails which resulted in a tier flavor change that I requested, but was not provided on the wedding date.
While I’ve had cake from Desserts by Rita before and it is truly delicious, they lost my business due to customer service. From the moment we began communicating, they made me feel like an inconvenience. I hope you have better luck, because their cake is great, but they lost my business for good.

I highly recommend to anyone when ordering a cake to call directly . I never spoke to you it was all done online. You were asking for flavors that we do not do. I did suggest that you not use carrot cake for a 1 year old because of the walnuts etc in it, but that is up to a customer what they choose. Communicating online isn't always the best way to order cakes, there are so many variables that can be resolved with a simple phone call.
We got married at The Vandiver Inn on Sunday October 8th 2017. By choosing this venue we chose to have Desserts by Rita be the ones to make our wedding cake since they have the partnership with The Vandiver. Neither my now husband or I had had anything from them before this point so I think fairly so we were a little uncertain. However they are amazing.
