Lunch😕. Not as good as we thought.
We went there on 10/20/18. We had a nice waitress. First we ordered raw oysters but were told they were out of season. I got them the night before at another restaurant. I’m sure The Oyster House had them. We stayed anyway, no oysters wasn’t a deal breaker. I ordered a fried seafood platter which consisted of fried flounder, shrimp, fried oysters, and blue crab claws. T he fried oysters was about the size of marbles. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing food with great prices!!!!
This was our last night in Gulf Shores and this was a bad choice. The service was good but the restaurant was hot. The food was horrible. Our stuffed mushrooms looked like they were stuffed with canned dog food then topped with Parmesan cheese. The chicken and fish tasted like steak. Our tea and soft drinks were the only thing that were appealing. Needless to say this was a first and last visit here.
