I got an accident on 7/23/2021. My car was covered by AAA Insurance. On 7/27/2021 I brought my car for they estimate, after estimate they told they will fix within 2 weeks. I agreed because they are the fastest among of the auto body shops but this is the trap, they deceitted me. After 1 weeks they announced it will take 2 months instead 2 weeks and the scheduled date is 9/27/2021 so I have gone too far to draw back. Desoto Collision Center in Southaven, MS, is Top Notch! Not only do they do an Excellent job repairing your car to make it look brand new again but their employees and their customer service is better than any place I’ve been to! Be sure to ask for Dwayne! Dwayne is Awesome! He really cares about his customers and goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy! I brought my car in because of damage from a tree branch. They repaired the damage, but water was still leaking into the car. I have taken the car back 4 times now, each time after being assured they had fixed it. I am about to have to drop it off for a 5th time. They were recommended by my insurance company, but I will never use them again.
I recently took my elderly aunt's 2004 Infinity G35 here to get an estimate for a damaged rear bumper. An employee here was an adjuster for the vehicle's insurance company and did give me options for other body shops. I agreed to just have the repairs done at this Desoto Collision Center since the Allstate adjuster was at this location. Boy did I later regret agreeing to that. Desoto Collision Center on Highway 64 is the worst company I've ever dealt with. My first insurance claim after driving for 20 years and they made the experience a total nightmare. Over 15 visits later and tons of mistakes made by Desoto Collision Center, my car still isn't fixed. As a matter of fact I have more damage than when I started. The entire staff is incompetent and ignorant. I had 4,000 characters typed for this review if that tells you anything but the max limit is 1000. Great experience at Desoto Collision on hwy 64. Ms. Crystal at the front desk assured me everything would be handled correctly and in a timely manner and she was right! They even called me with updates which I appreciated! Once repairs were completed I went to get my truck and it looked great! Plus it was cleaned up which was a nice touch! I was in an accident in the early part of December. As the person at fault had Geico Insurance, I was given the option of Desoto Collision to perform the repairs. The office is run like a well-oiled machine. I walked into the office and gave my name, Kevin from Geico walked out of a side office, introduced himself and explained the entire process. AWFUL. Receptionist put me on hold three times. I had to keep calling back, and to top it off car is still not ready and been almost two weeks! DO NOT go to this place!
Worst experience ever and I have to agree with the other reviews... Patrick is a liar. We bent a rim in Memphis and needed to get it repaired so Geico recommended this shop. We were charged for work that they did not do and the other cost was outrageous. Please stay away from this shop if you are looking for good work and honesty. I see the only good review had to be from someone that liked Patrick! Smh
