Dr. Desmarais has earned these low scores by diagnosing tumors in my sister and then neglecting to follow up with her. The office was extremely unprofessional. My sister does not have insurance and was trying to get the cost for operation from the office. They did not return her calls and when she was admitted to the ER, Dr. Demarais did not even visit her even though she was on shift. I love Dr. Desmarais! She and her nurse are wonderful. However, the woman at the front desk is quite insensitive. When I went for my appointment, I asked her to give me an estimate of the cost and she said, “Well, what’s the problem, don’t you have an HSA?”. Whether I have an HSA or not isn’t the point. I have a right to know what my estimated costs will be. In today's times, especially, I thought her comment was extremely rude and insensitive. We make choices of where to go for medical care. I have visited Dr. Desmarais only once so far. I was "interviewing" OBGYN doctors to find the right fit for me, since my husband and I are trying to conceive this year. I felt so comfortable with her...she's very warm and understanding. She spent almost 40 minutes talking with me! I have decided to work with this office. Everyone was great! Oh AND they answer emails from you! Fantastic!

Dr. Desmarais is amazing! I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes total to actually see HER. She is warm, helpful and very knowledgable. I have referred 5 other women to her and they are all very pleased with my recommendation!
