Almost cried in the store Had an appointment with the owner to discuss flowers for an elopement. She was pushy and tyrannical, sternly lecturing me because my elopement was a week away. (most elopements are last minute by definition). She said the only thing she could do was white and red roses. In the end, I bought $200 worth of artificial greenery that day. Stop to smell the roses They have really nice arrangements of really unusual flowers that you don't find in other flower shops. The arrangements always have the most decorative and fragrant flowers in town. Most people recognize the flowers by smell even before they see the arrangements.
Rude & Lazy Staff The owner was extremely rude. She expressed to me that she would charge me $12.00 dollars to have flowers delivered to an address which was 10 miles from the flower shop. In addition to this, she stated that I would pay at minimum $50.00 for services, in addition to the $12.00 for gas. I was prepared to move forward to make the purchase but her tone was very brash. Finally, I asked if there was a problem with moving forward with the purchase and Teresa said "Yes there will be a problem with providing servic... read more
Owner needs to be nicer. When I read the other review from 2009 I was shocked b/c a similar incident happened to me and not just one time. Had always liked the arrangements but grew tired of the second class treatment. Last time I went in the owner did not even greet me. I tried to get her attn. for a purchase but rearranging the shop was more interesting to her... The ladies at Wegmans' are so much nicer and it's not even their shop!
