Be careful with how procedures are billed here. I went in with a fractured tooth and gum risk, expecting a necessary repair. The office billed it as a cosmetic veneer (D2962), which caused my insurance to deny the claim entirely. This was not explained to me beforehand. What should have been a medically necessary procedure was classified in a way that left me responsible for $1,800 out of pocket. I’ve requested a billing review. Patients should verify codes and insurance impact before agreeing to treatment.
