Nice Clothing at good prices Designer Resale Boutique has just expanded to carry even more clothing. As far as resale shops go, Designer Resale Bourtique is about average. The clothing in the store is all in great shape but it is sometimes difficult to put together a matching outfit and some of the clothing seems either slightly out of date. I've been to designer resale twice and both times the service was horrible. When you walk in no one says hello or pays any attention to you. They do consignment so you have to wait a month or even longer to get your money and they only give you 40% of what they sell it for, Their prices are high and the clothes are older and in not so good condition.
Here’s what you need to know: Write a 500 word paper on your plans for after high school (Please include name, phone number and name of high school) Enter either contest category or both!! Category 1: Make an original dress from any fabric. The dress will be judged on construction, fit and style on model.
Designers may enter both categories but are not required to do so. All category entries will be modeled and judged on Sunday May 2, 2010. Winners will be announced later that evening. To register please e-mail DRdressscholarship@yahoo.com , subject title “Scholarship referral Allison Tippett”
Category 2: Create an original outfit using recycled materials. The outfit will be judged on creative design and originality. Keep a photo diary of at least 10 pictures chronicling the construction of the dress/outfit A five hundred dollar scholarship will be awarded in both categories.
