After over 10mths of working with DBB and Mario, I was so frustrated by unexplained delays and information that didn’t add up that I was forced to walk away from close to $24k with nothing to show. Mario admitted no fault or accountability to fix anything. I put my trust in him and I don’t think anyone deserves this result. We didn’t even make it to site so how he could justify that much time or money seems like theft to me. I would definitely NOT recommend using his services.
After we tried to work with some large mainstream builders we found that as soon we mentioned some of our ideas they lost interest in us. This was the reason we went to Design Better Buildings and Mario. The whole process was very straight forward and Mario was always very helpful. We could bring in all our ideas. As we had a limited budget (in today's term) he always pointed out which features would be expensive and where we should invest our money to get the best possible result. A review that had been a long time coming but so very deserved Mario and Priscilla are absolute experts in their field. They are passionate about creating a home that is functional, beautiful and takes into account all of the owner's needs. Mario has aided us in designing a farmstyle family home, as well as our granny flat. Mario & Priscila were both phenomenal and exceeded our expectations on all accounts We came for help to design a large 5 bed farmhouse style design and Mario provided excellent expertise and was able to design a very functional and cost effective house design that met all of our criteria. Mario & Priscila were also able to help organise any of the other survey's and reports we needed at very competitive pricing which actually saved us a few $1,000's Would 100% recommend and use again
Working with Mario has been a dream. From the initial meeting to the completion of plans for my new home, he listened to all my requirements and came up with a design that exceeded my expectations.
