Clean environment, very lovely facility. The dining room supervisor, Lucy, was wonderful and friendly. Another waiter, Anthony, seemed a little shy but was very attentive and pleasant.
I have had several clients on the property and have visited numerous times over the past few years. One thing that consistently stands out is the exceptional professionalism, courtesy, and knowledge of Pat at the front desk, along with a handful of other outstanding staff members. They truly make this place a wonderful home to visit, and I believe, to be a resident as well.
I delivered a package here and went to the front desk to ask about how they’d like me to deliver it. Sometimes these places will take it at the front desk, or sometimes they allow me in to look for the specific apartment. WELL, the lady at the front (who was elderly) was talking to an elderly man all smiley. As soon as she saw me, her face got sour. Whether it was my age, appearance or race, I’m not sure. After spending almost 2 years mostly alone in my home due to medical problems that required surgery and COVID lockdowns, I sold my home and moved into Desert Winds in August of 2022. I was tired of being lonely and wanted to be around other people. The staff here is very friendly. They are always willing to stop what they are doing and listen to whatever little thing is on my mind at the time, and lend a hand if needs be.
