Dr. Chao is a really talented dentist. He’s also just a nice person who is easy to talk to. You can trust him with your dental health! He will do right by you!
The doctor is great. He knows what he’s talking about. The staff know what they’re doing. This is a great place to go.
I am white knuckle patient with swallowing issues but Dr. Chao handles those for me, so you need to see him!
September 2024 I lost a very small filling in a front tooth. Nice dentist but so so service, as the staff was being trained simultaneously with my work being done. Distracting the person doing the work, not a good feeling for me. The 2 minute ‘exam’ (“yep, the filling is gone”) was $110. It was so small I, highly sensitive to pain, didn’t need numbing or drilling. Just x-rays and the filling. In and out in under an hour. Would have been faster absent the training. How much? $600 out of pocket, a month’s groceries. Speechless... read more
I have been a patient of Desert Villa Dental for 4 plus years. Broke a crown. Called and was told my absence (been a while since I needed a dentist) has placed me in the category of "new patient" and they are not taking new patients. This is the dental office with all my records. My only dentist. So now with a dental emergency I am forced to go "door to door" asking for help.
