We have had to go to the e.r. Three or four times since moving to pahrump. Every visit has been absolutely demeaning and humiliating. The staff have absolutely no bedside manner to speak of. The doctors treat the patients like drug seekers, junkies, and street scum. The last time we were in we didn't even know who my wife's nurse was because she never introduced herself nor did she come in and check on my wife. When the time came to be discharged, someone or other came in and said "you need to sign this". That was it. She di... read more

It's a shame that people who have a good experience never leave feedback on these sites. Unfortuntely I've had 4 experiences with their emergency room. Every time I was VERY satisfied every time. We (Pahrump residents) are very lucky to have this exceptional hospital here. In an emergency it's tragic when someone is an hour or more away from a facility. I've also had personal experience with their radiology and physical therapy departments which are both also excellant!

My wife is 11 weeks Pregnant. When she went in for cramping, they told her she had a uti and gave her medicine that causes miscarriages. They told her there was nothing they could do. Why call it an emergency room when they can't handle emergencies? This place shouldn't even be open. Also, make sure you keep documents showing that you paid your bills if you have to go so they can't charge you twice. They have bad bookkeeping skills and like to bill you after you already paid it.

After a 2-week onset of vomiting and diahhrea and TWO visits to the emergency room misdianosed with the Flu and sent home, my poor husband was finally admitted on the 3rd emergency room visit. Turns out, he had a bowel obstruction. Instead of immediately airlifting him to Las Vegas, the floor doctor allowed him to lie there in bed tied with a posey for days unable to walk, eat, drink, or use the bathroom. He was terribly thirsty, parched, weak, and white as a ghost. His breathing was extremely labored, his white blood cell c... read more

My wife was taken to this hospital when I found her unconscious. They did not do anything except put her on a ventilator and give her a sedative in the IV that the Emergency technicians had installed in her arm. They made a complete mess of the IV and her arm and than proceeded to move the IV in the other arm and than flew her to a good hospital in Vegas, Spring Valley Hospital. She was treated for pneumonia and released 2 weeks later. Everything is OK except the very large infected wound on her arm that she received at Dese... read more
