Pleased Customer We bought our first home six months ago through Desert View. So far we have been very pleased with the quality of the home and the customer service that has been provided to us. Unfortunately there was a broken pipe a couple of weeks ago. However, I don't feel that it was Desert View Home's fault. Our warranty clearly states that temperatures should never be below 65 degrees and with the constant blackouts this was kind of impossible. Do Not Be Fooled They give you a deal of a lifetime, especially if you are military. If you go with their mortgage company you get zero closing costs, with VA its zero down on a brand new home, and they tell you what everything is "supposedly" made out of to the T. I found out my baseboards were made out of compressed cardboard not wood like I was told. They say that your plumbing is covered, but dont cover your pipes because thats not part of the plumbing, they are just pipes. After my home flooded, I called my insurance an... read more
Home Buying We bought a home in January 2005 and we could not have been happier. The process was painless and Desert View really helped us through the process. Would recommend that you look into buying now even it it isn't a while before you buy because you might have to wait for your home to be built since they are selling like hot cakes!
