I'm disappointed that as a long time customer we listened to the staff in the salon. We followed their recommendation and we requested our account be put on hold. After updating our account we were told we would not be charged, but to our amazement we continued to be billed and not put on hold. When went back to the salon, the same person acted as if that never happened and tried to sell me a new membership at a much higher rate, who does that? The employees are super friendly and very helpful. They are always informing me of the specials that come out which is grat seevice never had any problem at this location I just love the luxor tanning bed and they have convenient hours of operation. I give it 5 stars
i was member at desert sun for years throughout western wa. the manager ashley and her gals there recently called me to say that she won't allow me to use her salon anymore. she had personal reasons for this, none justifiable at all. i have never had anyone at any salon say that they think i am so disgusting that they have to clean the beds 10-50 times after my use. so, when you the people read this reply, you would immediately reply, " are you kidding?" well, i am not. this woman ashley and her so-called 'nice girls at the ... read more

The girls who work at the front counter are nice and usually helpful, but I would not recommend purchasing lotions from this store. I am very fair and haven't been tanning in a while, so I bought my lotion on the day I signed up for a month long membership and decided to wait to use it until I had built a bit of a base tan. That was 11 days ago and I finally have enough of a tan built up to use the product. I always enjoy my tanning sessions at Desert Sun on South Hill. The staff is always friendly, and knowledgable about the products and equipment. The Salon is always clean and well maintained. The only thing I would ask is that they would hang mirrors in the individual tanning rooms. Give people a chance to double check their appearance; hair, possible tanning cream in the hair or up the nose, or possibly putting a shirt on inside out, BEFORE walking out into the main salon area.
