The best care in the valley. Desert Regional Hospital has incredible doctors, nurses and axillary personnel. All display above and beyond care practices. I am eternally grateful for all that they have done for me.

The staff in L&D are wonderful. Jessica is absolutely top notch! I cannot say enough about the level of care that she demonstrated in the delivery of my beautiful granddaughter last night and this morning. Thank you very much!!

Apparently you need to be literally bleeding out in order to get help at this hospital. Twice I have taken my spouse in to the ER, and both times we were sent home with no answers and no help. The social worker was incompetent, argumentative and rude; the nurses were eating and gossiping in the halls; and my husband’s request to be seen in a secluded area (as opposed to the middle of the triage area) was ignored. I understand that social work and anything in the medical field can be hard, under appreciated work, but the empl... read more

Good Morning. As a former Nurse of 20 years and in recognition of Nurses Week, I’d like to share my feelings of Health Care today. I had the opportunity to be in the ER of Desert Regional early this past Sunday morning. I was there with a friend who had taken a serious fall and asked for my assistance. We arrived at about 1:45am and due to his condition were escorted to a bed by a health care individual whom I didn’t realize was an RN until I read her badge. The personal o...Continue Reading

I spent about Five hours, waiting and watching the staff, security, admins and the patients! There were 3 code blues, 2 died and during all this, the staff was simply awesome! While the patients cried in pain, druggies cried for drugs and a few yelled at them. My respect for their staff for being professional and very patient! They all thanked me for being calm and helpful! I couldn’t accept that in light of all their hard work, the thanks goes to Desert Regional Medical Center staff!

Shattered part and broke my tibular, as well as broke the fibula in my left leg. The staff in the ER were very friendly and took their job very serious, never felt not important even though it was pretty crowded. Had to stay for 2 days and had to have surgery on my leg. The nursing staff was amazing and very attentive, never felt left alone. The surgeon was fantastic. did a great job fixating the broken and shattered bones internally. And a therapist taught me for 45 minutes how to use crutches to get up and down staircases.... read more

Flew in from the east coast on Wednesday and had some heart issues just as we landed. Not exactly how I planned my arrival! I just can’t say enough good things about the first responders and the Police at the airport. Then things got even better. I ended up in the ER and was treated quickly and with loving care. The Doctors, nursing staff and volunteers took excellent care of me. That I expected. What I didn’t expect was how well they took care of my wife while all this was going on. Including my heart conversion. You guys s... read more
