I cannot say enough good things about Desert Prostate Specialists and Dr. Jeffrey Schreiber. After a routine physical exam, my bloodwork showed elevated PSA levels and I was referred to a urologist at Eisenhower Health. Unfortunately, the process moved very slowly — it took nearly three months just to get an appointment, and then another two months to get an MRI. First Class treatment from the moment you walk into the office. Christine and Martha are very professional, caring and no wait times for your appointment. Dr Schreiber explains exactly what is going to happen in a way you can understand. My Surgery was a week ago for the Radiation seeds and recovery is excellent. I am from British Columbia Canada. My PSA was 19 and a biopsy was required. In Kelowna B.C. wait times were long and proceedures were not perenial. I opted to visit Dr. Schreiber in Rancho Mirage for treatment. After the biopsy, hormone treatment was suggested to shrink the prostate allowing for less seeds to be implanted. The implants were done and a week later I am doing well. Just had a follow up with Dr. Schreiber as well. His staff of Christne and Martha were accomadating and caring. I would recomend this proceedure and especially Dr. Schreiber to anyone... read more
