Poor customer service. Never talk to someone on the 1st attempt. Way overdue on my true- up balance that was due in May. When I reached them in August, told I would receive my check in October. Five months later, still waiting...
i just found that out and it seems like a big scam and you can opt out with no explanation but I called to opt out and there response was you will be opted out but it will take about two to three weeks to opted out which there is very shady this company needs to be reported and shut down this is unacceptable.

If you move to Palm Springs or certain other areas, you'll be forced into using Desert Community Energy as a provider of energy. Their rates are DOUBLE or nearly DOUBLE that of Socal Edison. Your informed consent is not required. You get no notification ahead of time that you're opted in, your signature isn't required and you're bound to use them after your initial sign-up (unless you figure out their scam).
