DO NOT GO HERE! We were on vacation here and my son had an asthma attack. We took my son here because it was the only pediatric urgent care we could find in a 30 mile radius and it had great reviews. Not only were we disappointed by the fact that most insurances (including our PPO) were out-of-network for them, but the quality of care was beyond unacceptable. had high hopes for this urgent care based on the reviews, but unfortunately our experience was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff seemed uninterested and difficult to get assistance from. Before my visit, I called to confirm that this urgent care facility accepted our insurance. I was assured that they did. When I arrived, I inquired about our insurance coverage again. Unfortunately, they were out of network and hadn’t informed me beforehand. Dr. Torres is the only person I feel comfortable with taking my child that’s on the spectrum to. Other urgent cares I’ve tried did not measure up. His approach has always been patient and lead with kindness. Not only that but he’s very invested in my child getting better. He’s treated her from pneumonia to bronchitis, he’s the reason why I seek a specialist to find out why she’s experiencing these often.
