RecommendedNeat little place. I have the fisherman room. It is quaint and clean. And cost less than dragging the trailer down here just for myself.
Great little spot. Simple, clean and polite. Dog friendly and very laid back.
This is an older hotel that has been kept in very good order. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Dave and his wife do a great job of making people feel welcome and Dave went out of his way to help a couple members of our group fix a couple of minor issues with their motorcycles.

Clean, convenient, nice staff, good pillows. Would have been nice to know that the heater/ac unit was on heat mode and that we were unable to change that with the remote control, (after messing with it until 4am) only by staff. It was horribly uncomfortable in our room...slept very little because of it. Other than that it was good.
I spent the month of February and 1/2 of March working a small job in Maupin and stayed at the Deschutes Motel. Very clean, roomie and comfortable bed. They were closed for the winter and I would like to thanks Dawna for putting me up and for a very reasonable rate. If ever I am in the area again, I will be knocking on your door.
The owners are awesome people, my family has stayed here while visiting MAUPIN and they loved it!
Very clean room with extra comfortable beds and a friendly staff/owner, all at a great rate. We would definitely stay there again!
