Our original Public House has been a vibrant fixture of the downtown Bend, Oregon scene since 1988. Not only were our very first beers brewed here - think Black Butte Porter and Jubelale - but we quickly became a gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. Food was bad and tooooo tourist driven beer was IPA or stout not a single brown ale.

A bend craft brew staple.
Very clean and classy place. Quick friendly service. Delicious food with gluten free options. Prices were reasonable. Terrific beer!... of course! Our server allowed me to sample a few different beers before I ordered one. So many to choose from. Family friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Everybody that I've spoken to that works for Deschutes are very nice and friendly, and VERY helpful. Plus the beer is amazing (with the exception of Jubelale..) Deschutes is the greatest!

The food is great! Really upscale for a brewpub. The beer is of course terrific & it's fun to try the creative one off & seasonals that you can only get there.
