Dr Desai is very patient with my autistic son and with me, although my English is not good I could understand everything, take the time to understand your patients, thank you.
My son is epileptic and went through a rough time with depression. The doctor literally bail us out because he was worry only on himself instead of my son. He was scared of a suit if something bad happened to my son. I was left speechless with his behavior. I have never been treated this way in my life. He left us without answers and without medication. Very bad way to respond toward my son.
Dr Desai is a wonderful doctor. Compassionate and generous.
My son has been having headaches and we went to him and his attitude was just dismissive. Said if we got a MRI it would just be for peace of mind. Was not welcoming at all. This doctor and their staff were not helpful at all. When I called in for help on setting up the MRI they would just say the hospital should have it. They were rude and just unprofessional. DO NOT GO TO HIM STAY AWAY IF YOU LOVE YOUR KIDS AND WANT YOUR KIDS TO BE PROPERLY DIAGNOSED
Waited over 2 hours, then left! Do not recommend. Office was uncomfortable and stinky!
He is the worst, rudist most horrible doctor on the planet. He has no business being in childrens medical services. My daughter has been suffering from migraines for four years. He looked us in the face and said she was exagerating her illness. She has had vision loss, fainting with paralysis, she was found unconscious at school with no pulse. She needed a good neurologist this DR.(so called) needs to go back to India and mistreat their kids. Don't waste your time or get your hopes up with this neurologist.
Parents PLEASE do NOT take your child to this doctor!!! He is the worst. He missed my son's diagnosis, ignored the symptoms I tried to tell him about, and lied on his dictation summery he sent to my primary. Horrible arrogant, dismissive and rude. My son could have been diagnosed years sooner if I had known at the time what I was doing and what an awful doctor he is. Don't risk your child's health,please find another doctor.
The worst experience Ive ever had with a Dr. My son has sever autism and I went to Dr, Desai for answers and help. After spending 10 min with my son, he could not handle his behavior, he asked me to leave and said he can not do anything for him. Do not even give this sad excuse for a man your time. He is a waist go see another nero who will listen and is willing to help!!!
I agree with the comment below. Dr. Desai has NO bedside manner what so ever. I do not recall him even cracking somewhat of a smile. Ummmm Hello you are a "Pediatric" Neurologist....On the first and last visit, Dr. Desai diagnosed my son with Autism after about 20 devepmental questions and said there is nothing else to do for him. Being that I work in the healthcare field myself I knew that was not correct. He should not be allowed to practice medicine. We have a wonderful Dr now.
