Always takes the time to listen, never judges, and develops a relationship with her patients. We have been seeing her for 14 years, and she still remembers our first visit! She is great with kids that have severe medical issues.
She’s very professional respectful she takes her time to listen to concerns and diagnose whatever concern both of my kids go to her
We stuck with him for a year but are now looking for a new pediatrician. Our concerns have never really been addressed. The answer to every question is 'every kid is different.' We've had a few consistent concerns at every appointment. It took a year for him to finally look in and address one thing. He is a very nice person but not the right fit for us.
I would advise anyone to NOT use Dr. Gary. In the years I’ve known her through my stepchildren I have never failed to be shocked by her bedside manner and difficulty to deal with. At one point the office attempted to deny us a referral for psychiatric care and testing simply because it wasn’t what she would personally do in our situation. The child turned out to be autistic. My daughter had labs drawn a month ago and haven’t received any work from her. I’ve reached to them and just get response of she hasn’t gotten to them yet. Terrible patient care would not recommend.
My daughter went to see this doctor when she began having back and hip pain 2 years ago. He ordered an x-ray and told her to do PT. Wouldn’t even look at her during the appointment and talked about his football players. After PT didn’t work we spent two years at different doctors following his diagnosis trying to figure out what was wrong until a doctor looked at her hips and found two labral tears. If he had not misdiagnosed her she would’ve found the tears earlier and would’ve been able to continue with her sport. Instead ... read more
My daughter seen her primary doctor Loucks for 12 years She is very understanding so professional to communicate with deaf patient and deaf parent and ASL interpreter for patient so best service ever we know
She is what a pediatrician should be! She listens and takes the time needed with each patient!
The entire NICU needs a new management team and medical director. She threatened us with a procedure with a 50% survival rate because we were always at our child's bedside (aka devoted parents). I've never been more terrified in my life and this conversation haunts me and my husband to this day. Nebraska Med's NICU survival rate pales in comparison to the national average and this is in part due to her forceful feeding protocols (more bowel perfs and poor oral intake resulting in more gtubes), and overall lack of compassion.... read more
