Dr Winkler and Dr Vile (now retired) at this practice are excellent, and they’re the reason I continue coming back. They are knowledgeable, caring, and always take the time to answer my questions. Unfortunately, the experience with the front desk staff has been inconsistent. Sometimes they’re pleasant and helpful, but other times they come across as defensive and dismissive, especially if you have a concern or are frustrated about an issue. Dr. Steven Winkler is brilliant! He diagnosed my Myasthenia Gravis when another doctor of the same specialty wanted to do surgery to correct (which would not have worked with this disease). He is incredibly thorough & does an excellent job of explaining medical issues related to my disease. We are fortunate to have a specialist like him in our geographical area!
Don't fill prescriptions when drug stores call for refills. Long waiting times.
You are in good hands with Dr. Kathryn Winkler! I have chronic dry eye and she helps manage my issues and flare ups. She gives you a lot of information and options so you can choose what you think is best for yourself and lifestyle. I have recommended her to many friends and family members. When she isn’t available, the other doctors in the practice are great to work with, too!
I was trying to make an appointment for my daughter to have a stye removed. The receptionist for Dr. Katherine P. wrinkler she asked what insurance do I have, I told her that I needed to pay cash since I already inquired about the price and I was willing to pay. She immediately tod me and I quote, "I cannot take YOUR cash," like what my money doesn't count?. Anyhow I would not recommend this office to anyone.
